This facility is a rural health campus that uniquely connects a clinic, Critical Access Hospital, and Nursing Home/Assisted Living all in one location, offering providers a truly integrated care experience. The organization supports a comprehensive range of on-site services including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Behavioral Health, Dietitian services, Diabetes Education, Home Health, Path/Lab, and Radiology/Imaging, as well as extensive outreach specialty services.

Physician - Family Medicine

Job Details:

• Open to J1 and H1 visa candidates seeking to serve a rural community in Northern Minnesota
• Partner with a dedicated team of Family Medicine Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians to provide exceptional patient-focused care
• 1.0 FTE equals 36 patient contact hours, or 32 patient contact hours if performing inpatient duties
• No Call Model available for clinic-only providers
• Clinic shifts: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm
• Average of 18-20 clinic patients per day with 1-2 procedures per day
• Pre and post-natal care provided for patients who deliver in Detroit Lakes through a shared care model
• Optional inpatient rounding available at the Critical Access Hospital with an average census of 5-8 patients
• Optional Emergency Room shifts available with a volume of 8-12 patients per 24-hour shift
• Home base in Fosston, MN with potential outreach to Oklee and Bagley Clinics
• Electronic Medical Record system: Epic
• Extensive on-site services available including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Behavioral Health, Dietitian, Diabetes Education, Home Health, Tobacco Cessation, Path/Lab, Radiology/Imaging, and Weight Management
• Outreach services include Oncology, ENT, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Pain, GYN, General Surgery/Wound Clinic, Urology, and numerous Telehealth specialty services
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine required
