Physician - Family Medicine
Job Details:
- Join a growing Family Medicine practice with the flexibility to personalize your own practice setting, including choice of FTE, focus areas, and more
- Open to a variety of FTE opportunities; full-time 1.0 FTE equals 36 patient contact hours, or 32 patient contact hours if performing OB services
- Monday through Friday schedule between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
- Primary location in Detroit Lakes, MN with potential outreach opportunities to Lake Park, Pelican Rapids, Frazee, or Mahnomen Clinics
- Average of 14-18 clinic patients per day
- Procedures and OB services are welcome but not required; FM physicians performing OB can expect approximately 20-25 deliveries per year; C-sections are performed by OB/GYN or General Surgery
- Pediatric call is approximately 1:6 weekends, with 2-4 weekday calls per month and 1 weekend every 6 weeks; hospitalist service is in place
- Onsite services include Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Behavioral Health, General Surgery/Wound Care, Diabetes Education, Dietitian, Infusion Center, Pathology/Lab, Radiology/Imaging, Therapy Services, Geriatrics/Eldercare, Dermatology, Optometry, Podiatry, Orthopedic Surgery, Occupational Medicine, and Urgent Care
- Outreach services include Audiology, Oncology, ENT, Cardiology, Nephrology, Urology, Pulmonology, and Sleep Medicine
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine required
- NHSC Loan Repayment Qualifying Site
