Family Medicine Physician (Bilingual Bengali) – Bronx, NY (#3415)

Location: Bronx, NY 10451
Employment Type: Part-time (2–3 days per week)
Salary: $200,000 - $235,000/year (full-time equivalent; prorated for part-time)

Overview:
A multi-specialty outpatient practice in the Bronx is seeking a Bilingual Bengali Family Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive, culturally competent primary care services to a diverse patient population, with a strong focus on the Bengali-speaking community.

Responsibilities:
✔ Provide comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages
✔ Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
✔ Perform physical examinations and preventive screenings
✔ Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests and lab results
✔ Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
✔ Educate patients and families on prevention, wellness, and disease management in English and Bengali
✔ Coordinate care with specialists and multidisciplinary teams
✔ Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
✔ Deliver culturally competent care tailored to Bengali-speaking patients
✔ Serve as a clinical resource for the community

Qualifications:
✔ MD or DO from an accredited medical school
✔ Completion of accredited Family Medicine residency
✔ Active New York State medical license
✔ Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine
✔ Open to new graduates
✔ Must be bilingual in Bengali
✔ Strong communication and patient-centered care skills
✔ Experience with EHR systems preferred
