Medical Director (CCM/RPM Work Orders Only) – SC | Part-Time / Telemedicine

Job description

otal Remote Care, LLC seeks a licensed physician (MD or DO) based in South Carolina to serve as Medical Director for two long-term care facilities in Inman, SC.
This is a part-time, telemedicine-based administrative role focused exclusively on overseeing Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) and Chronic Care Management (CCM) work orders.

This position is ideal for a physician looking to spend 2-4 hours per week for a low-volume, flexible engagement without call, clinical rounds, or patient-facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Review, sign, and maintain RPM and CCM work orders for enrolled patients.

Collaborate with facility nursing staff and Total Remote Care’s remote monitoring team to ensure compliance with CMS and facility policies.

Periodically review chronic care protocols, device alerts, and care plans as needed.

Ensure that all RPM/CCM services are appropriately authorized and documented under your supervision.

Submit billing under your NPI and license (for compliance purposes); Total Remote Care will handle all billing support, claim preparation, and device logistics.

Communicate promptly with the Total Remote Care administrative team regarding any updates or compliance matters.

Preferred Qualifications

Active South Carolina medical license (MD or DO)

Familiarity with Chronic Care Management (CCM) or Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) programs preferred but not required

Board Certification not required

Excellent communication, responsiveness, and documentation skills

Compensation

Competitive monthly retainer starting at $1,500 - $2,000/month and expected to grow
