Family Medicine Locum Opportunity in San Antonio, Texas

Position Highlights:
•Start Date: 8/10/2026
•Contract Length: 8 weeks
•Shift Details: 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday, 8-hour days. On-Call Required: Once-a-week at-home call (5P-8A; average # calls: 5).
•One weekend a month of home call, except for individuals with a change in status or post ER/hospital. (Friday 5P-Monday 8A, average # calls: 25).
•Schedule: Immediate, Minimum of 2 months with option to extend, M-F 8-5
• Practice Setting: Hospital
• License, Certification, or Registration required: (All certifications must be current and remain as such while providing services at the Facility)
• Physician - Active Texas Medical License from Texas Medical Board with no sanctions
• Active US Dept of Justice Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Certification
• American Heart Association – approved course in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and maintain that certification while providing services at the Facility.
• Credentialing Timeframe: 2 weeks

• September start
• 8 weeks contract length
• TX license
