Physician Needed for In-Home Health Evaluations in Burlington, VT | Flexible | No Call | New Grads Welcome

Job description

This is an in-home health evaluation opportunity based in Burlington, Vermont, with coverage available across many Vermont counties, conducting pre-scheduled evaluations for Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and certain commercial plan members. Scheduling is flexible Monday-Sunday, 7:00a-7:00p, with no nights or weekends required and no call. The contract runs approximately 13 weeks with full- or part-time flexibility. Credentialing runs approximately two to three weeks, and travel support (airfare, hotel, rental car) is available depending on eligibility.

The physician conducts pre-scheduled in-home health evaluations, seeing about 6-9 visits per day. Each visit includes a medication and medical history review along with a physical evaluation in the member's home. The provider is given a pre-populated, patient-specific form for each evaluation and does not prescribe medication, order labs, or alter treatment regimens.

Candidates should be Board Certified with an active Vermont license in hand, a Vermont CSR, and a master's degree. New graduates are accepted, and a DEA is not required, as the role involves no prescribing or diagnosing.
