Job description

Location: Richmond, VA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00a–5:00p (possible extended hours)
Specialty: Family Medicine

Responsibilities

Perform physical examinations for new and established patients.

Order and interpret necessary diagnostic testing including labs and imaging.

Develop and manage treatment plans based on clinical findings.

Document patient histories through interviews and EMR documentation.

Provide comprehensive family-centered care including preventive medicine and chronic disease management.

Participate in procedures within scope of training.

Identify needs for specialty consultation and coordinate care accordingly.

Provide education to patients, families, clinical staff, and non-clinical personnel on health-related topics.

May participate in teaching residents, students, and other learners.

Requirements

Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program.

MD or DO degree.

Virginia medical license required.
