Locum Family Medicine Physician | Outpatient Primary Care | Baraboo, WI | Mon–Fri, No Call, Urgent Need

Job description

Start: November 16, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: 13 weeks (ongoing)
Coverage: Outpatient primary care clinic
Schedule: Immediate coverage Nov 16–28, Dec 17–23, and Dec 28–Jan 1; then ideally Mon–Fri (4 days/week accepted); 8:30–16:30 or 9:00–17:00 (flexible)
Call: No after-hours call; weekly Doctor of the Day duties during business hours (nurse-triaged patient calls and same-day needs for providers who are out)
Volume: 18–22 patients per day
Practice Setting: Outpatient primary care clinic
Patient Population: All ages (adult-only providers accommodated); heavy geriatric population

• Outpatient primary care for patients with complex chronic conditions, including diabetes, heart disease, and multiple comorbidities
• Standard primary care clinic procedures; residency clinic handles most procedures
• No hospital rounding
• 1:1 support with a clinical MA, LPN, or RN
• Clinic closed on holidays and holiday eve afternoons
• Documentation in Epic

Requirements
• Board Certified in Family Medicine
• Active Wisconsin license or IMLC required
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Epic experience required
• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
