Orthopedic NP/PA Opportunity – Athens, OH

Job description

Start Date: April/May
Duration: 60–90 days (maternity leave coverage)
Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday (possible Friday 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30-minute lunch)

Setting: Clinic / Private Practice

This role focuses on non-emergent orthopedic and sports medicine care, including evaluation and management of acute fractures, acute and chronic orthopedic pain, and joint conditions. The provider will perform cortisone injections, viscosupplementation, joint injections/aspirations, and manage medications. Please note, this practice does not treat spine-related conditions.

Work Details:

* Patient volume: 25–30 per day
* Patient population: Ages 13–90+
* Coverage needed: 2–3 days per week
* Support staff includes MA, LPN, AT, clinical lead, front desk lead, and practice manager
* EMR: Epic
* Hospital affiliation: 144 beds
* Procedures: Non-surgical

Requirements:

* Board Certified NP or PA
* Active Ohio license required prior to start
* DEA required
* Minimum of 3 years of experience
* CAQSM preferred

Credentialing: ASAP
