Locums Orthopedic Physician Opportunity – Non-Surgical Clinic Setting

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Orthopedic Physician for a locums, non-surgical outpatient role. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced providers, including those looking to scale back from surgery—who want a predictable schedule and clinic-only work.

Position Overview
- Specialty: Orthopedic Surgery (Non-Surgical Role)
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Length: Flexible
- Practice Setting: Clinic / Private Practice

Schedule
- Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Days: 2–4 days per week
- Providers may float between up to 5 clinic locations

Clinical Responsibilities:
- Patient Volume: 20–30 patients per day

Treat patients for:
- Personal injury
- Motor vehicle accidents
- Slip & fall injuries
- Post-operative follow-up care
- No surgical consults or operative cases
- Optional shoulder injections (rare; not required)

Requirements:
- Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon
- Active Pennsylvania medical license
- IMLC considered; local candidates preferred
- DEA required

Credentialing
- Expedited credentialing available: 7–14 days
