Assignment Overview

We are seeking a Gastroenterologist to support an ongoing vacancy with weekday hospital-based procedural time followed by night call. This is a procedure-focused role—no clinic time required—ideal for providers who prefer hospital-only GI work.


Schedule & Call

Procedures: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–12:00pm

Expected volume: 5–10 hospital-based GI procedures per day

Call: Night call following onsite hours

Setting: Inpatient with some outpatient consult volume

Trauma Level: III


Clinical Details

Patients per day: 10–20

Support Staff: 5 RNs

Hospital Size: 300 beds

EMR: Cerner


Requirements

Board Certification: BC/BE Gastroenterology

License: Active Arizona license required

DEA: Required

Certifications: BLS & ACLS

Minimum Experience: 1 year

Credentialing: Next-day possible
