Physician - Hospitalist - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology
Job Details:
- Join an elite, established gastroenterology team consisting of four accomplished physicians and four advanced practitioners with seven-day-per-week inpatient APP support
- Exceptional flexible scheduling options available including a 7 on/7 off structure or a customized schedule tailored to your preferences
- Ideal inpatient and outpatient clinical mix providing a stimulating and rewarding practice environment
- ERCP expertise required, with advanced procedural skills highly valued
- Perform comprehensive upper GI endoscopy procedures including biopsy, foreign body removal, cautery, variceal injection, ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic), and PEG placement
- Perform lower GI endoscopy procedures including flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy with biopsy and polypectomy
- Conduct esophageal dilatation, manometry, and manometry interpretation
- Perform endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), liver biopsy, and small bowel biopsy
- Manage insertion and care of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
- Participate in academic teaching opportunities in affiliation with a leading medical school and internal medicine residency program
- Board certification required with an estimated credentialing timeframe of 60-90 days
- Position qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) as part of a not-for-profit health system
