Locum GI Hospitalist | Oklahoma City | Flexible Block Schedule

Location: Orange County, CA
Specialty: Gastroenterology
Duration: January 1 – June 31
Schedule: Monday, 7a – Monday, 7a, 1-2 weeks per month
Shift: 7a-a7
Patient contact: 7a-5p (inpatient procedures prioritize, if time is left in the day add scopes in the endo suite or clinic visits)
Call: 24 call pager
Scope of practice: inpatient rounds, consults, procedures + clinic/endo suite if the hospital is slow
>ERCP and EUS is a plus
Volumes: (1-3) new consults per day, (1-2) procedures per day, outpatient/scopes TBD based on the hospital volumes
EMR: EPIC
Hospital: stand-alone cancer center with evaluation treatment center: 60-63 beds to start (73 bed capability); 8 bed ICU (20 bed capacity); 8 ETC beds
Group/support: CRNA/MD on call 24/7, 1 other GI
Requirements (boards): BC Gastroenterology; CA fluoroscopy license, CA license, CA DEA
