This is Sergio Cayetano with Aya Locums. I’m reaching out to share a new and exciting Gastroenterology locum opportunity in Northern California, offering a balanced schedule, strong clinical support, and full coverage of travel and malpractice.

📅 Assignment Overview
Start Date: May 1, 2026
Duration: Ongoing
Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours plus call
Schedule:
• Weekday clinic: 7:30–3:30pm or 7:40–3:40pm
• Night call: 5:00pm–7:30/7:40am
• Weekend call: 24-hour coverage
• Office days: 8:00am–5:00pm with lunch
(Clinic hours paid at hourly rate; night call and call-back paid separately)

🏥 Practice Details
• Setting: Inpatient / Outpatient
• Patient volume: 12–16 per shift
• EMR: Epic
• Support staff: Yes

🔧 Required Skills & Procedures
• Upper & Lower GI endoscopy
• Colonoscopy & sigmoidoscopy
• Esophageal dilation & manometry
• Small bowel & liver biopsy

🩺 Requirements
• Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Active California license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent hospital-based GI experience
• ERCP, Fluoro, BLS required
• DEA required
• Case logs to be included upon presentation
