Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an Inpatient Gastroenterologist to work locum shifts in beautiful Denver, Colorado. The role offers ongoing call coverage and great money.

The Gastroenterology locums position description:

Location: Lakewood, Colorado (Denver)
Start date: As soon as credentialed
Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, (7a–7a) - 8 gratis hours (in-clinic)
EMR: Epic

• Inpatient consult-only
• Level 1 Trauma Center
• Adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients (pediatric trauma 15+ years and 50 kg+)
• Typical volume of 8–10 consults and 5–8 scopes per day
• 24/7 intensivists, hospitalists, and trauma services on site

Current Coverage Dates Needed:
June 23–28;
July 20–26;
Aug 30–Sept 3;
Sept 11–12;
Nov 7–11;
Nov 30–Dec 5;
Dec 26–31;
January 2027 and beyond

GI Locums Physician Requirements:
• CO license active, unrestricted or IMLC with (LOQ in hand)
• Board Certified-Gastroenterology with completed GI fellowship
• Must perform ERCP and EUS (required)
• Active and unrestricted DEA
