Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient gastroenterology coverage
Perform outpatient and inpatient procedures
Provide gastroenterology consultations
Participate in 24-hour call coverage

Required Procedures: ERCP
EMR System: Cerner
On-Call/Weekends: 24-hour call, 7:00 AM–7:00 AM

Requirements:
Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible within 3 years of residency
Active Iowa license or IMLC
ACLS certification
ERCP experience and willingness/ability to work inpatient

• Locum to Perm Pathway: Opportunity to transition from locum coverage to a permanent position.
• Advanced GI Skills: ERCP is required, with EUS highly preferred.
• Comprehensive Hospital Practice: Includes consultations, inpatient procedures, and 3–4 outpatient procedures per day.
