Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology

Job Details:
• Locums-to-Perm opportunity seeing approximately 20 patients per shift • Must be board eligible in Internal Medicine-Gastroenterology • Perform upper GI endoscopies with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, and injection of varices • Conduct ERCP procedures (both diagnostic and therapeutic) • Perform small bowel biopsies • Conduct lower GI endoscopy including flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy • Perform colonoscopies with biopsy and polyp excision • Conduct liver biopsies • PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy) preferred • Must have or be eligible for Kentucky medical license or IMLC • ACLS and BLS certifications required • Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60 days • Fellowship trained with 3 years of experience preferred
