Gastroenterology Weekend Opportunity – MD
Start Date: 07/01/2026
Schedule: Friday 5:00pm through Monday 8:00am (flexible)
Coverage: 1 to 2 weekends per month
Duration: 6 month commitment with option to extend

Work Details:
• 6 to 10 new consults per day
• 3 to 5 inpatient follow ups per day
• Saturday and Sunday approximately 8:00am to 3:00pm with in house call
• Inpatient endoscopic procedures performed Saturday 8:00am to 12:00pm
• Additional procedures limited to true emergencies at physician discretion
• Procedures primarily include EGD and colonoscopy interventions
• PA support available Saturday to assist with consults while procedures are performed

Additional Notes:
• ERCP preferred but not required
• EUS not required
