About the clinician's workday

The gastroenterologist will provide inpatient gastroenterology coverage on a 24-hour shift basis with 24-hour call responsibilities at this on-site facility. Clinical responsibilities include managing inpatient gastroenterology cases and performing ERCP and EUS, both of which are required components of this assignment. Call coverage is an integral part of this locum tenens engagement, and clinical documentation is maintained through the Epic EMR system. Board certification in Gastroenterology is required for all clinicians considered for this role.
