Licensing - Gastroenterologist Needed In Nebraska

Contract Length: Multiple coverage windows

March 12 – March 24

May 14 – June 7

June 25 – July 6

Schedule: 24-hour call coverage

No clinic

Screening endoscopy procedures Monday–Friday beginning at 8:00am

Typical on-site time: ~6–8 hours/day

Callback begins after 8 hours (callbacks are infrequent)

Clinical Details

Setting: Inpatient only
Patient Population: Adults
Average Daily Volume:

1–2 inpatient consults per day

~8–10 scheduled screening endoscopy procedures
Rounding: Yes (approximately 2 hours daily)
Support Staff: 1 APP covering clinic patients while full-time GI physician is out
Anesthesia Support: Yes (no moderate sedation privileges required)
EMR: Epic

Procedures & Responsibilities

General GI coverage

Inpatient consults and daily rounding

Screening colonoscopy and endoscopy procedures

ERCP strongly preferred but not required

No EUS required

Chart and pathology review while on campus during assignment
