About the clinician's workday

The gastroenterologist will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology services Monday through Friday with 8-hour day shifts and evening and weekend call coverage. The clinician will perform specialized procedures including EGD EMR, EGD RFA, EGD EUS, Colon EUS, ERCP for gallstones and straightforward cases, and Colon EMR with anesthesiologist support available. The position requires managing hospital rounding, consultations, and outpatient clinic sessions every other week for one day with 8 hours of coverage. Active New York licensure is required for this assignment involving comprehensive gastroenterology care coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
