Opportunity:
Physician - Gastroenterology

Job Details:
• Provide comprehensive gastroenterology services including hospital rounding and procedures
• 24-hour call coverage from 7am-7am with 8 hours of in-house rounding time
• Perform 1-2 scopes per day with flexible rounding schedule based on consultative service census
• Handle 1-2 new patient consults per day and round on 5-6 patients daily
• Required procedures include colonoscopy, biopsy, polypectomy, proctoscopy/flexible sigmoidoscopy
• Perform hemorrhoidal banding, upper GI endoscopy, PEG procedures
• Manage esophageal variceal banding, acute GI bleeding, and dilation procedures
• ERCP certification highly preferred with 1-2 ERCP procedures per week
• Solo coverage with no other gastroenterologist present during assignment
• Hospital and call coverage only - no clinic responsibilities
• Work with experienced RN and CRNA support staff in endoscopy suite
• EPIC EMR system utilized
• Board certification in gastroenterology required
• North Dakota state license highly preferred, will accept pending or IMLC
• BLS and DEA certification required
• Clean malpractice history highly preferred
• Case logs will be requested for review
• Credentialing timeframe 60-90 days
• Coverage dates: December 29 (AM) - January 4 (AM) with ongoing availability

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
