Gastroenterology Opportunity – OH
Start: May 2026
Contract Length: Multiple week-long assignments throughout May–December (see below)

Assignment Blocks:
• May 3 (4pm) – May 11 (7am)
• May 11 (7am) – May 18 (7am)
• May 24 (4pm) – June 1 (7am)
• June 15 (7am) – June 22 (7am)
• June 22 (7am) – June 29 (7am)
• July 13 (7am) – July 20 (7am)
• July 26 (4pm) – Aug 3 (7am)
• Sept 7 (7am) – Sept 14 (7am)
• Sept 14 (7am) – Sept 21 (7am)
• Dec 21 (7am) – Dec 28 (7am)

Shift Details:
• 7a–3p + night beeper call Monday–Friday
• 24-hour beeper call on weekends
Schedule: Full-time coverage preferred; will consider physicians able to work a minimum of 7 consecutive days per month

Work Details:
• Coverage Need: Full-time, or minimum 7-day blocks
• Patient Population: Adult
• Department: GI coverage for a Level 1 hospital
• EMR: EPIC
• Hospital Size: 434 beds
• Procedures:

ERCP (150 in past 2 years required)

EUS required

Esophageal/Duodenal/Luminal Stent Placement (20 in past 2 years)

EGD (diagnostic & therapeutic)

Colonoscopy w/ or w/o polypectomy (100 in past 2 years initially; 150 at reappointment)

Enteral alimentation

APC, biopsies, sigmoidoscopy, esophageal dilation, PEG, nonvariceal hemostasis, motility studies, pH monitoring, and more
• Practice Setting: Hospital

Requirements:
• Board Certified or truly BE in Gastroenterology
• OH license required (IMLC preferred; willing to license)
• DEA required
• ACLS required
• Moderate Sedation packet + post-test (80%+) required at onboarding
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Credentialing: Temp privileges available
