Gastroenterology Opportunity – OH
Coverage: 24-hour call (inpatient only)
Start: 3/2/2026
Schedule: Standard 24-hour call (7:00–6:59)

Assignment Dates:
• March 2–9, 2026
• April 27–May 4, 2026
• September 28–October 5, 2026
• November 16–23, 2026
• November 30–December 7, 2026

Work Details:
• Level II Trauma Center
• Purely inpatient consult service—no outpatient work
• Expected 6–8 consults per day; inpatient census around 15
• GI rounds each morning on their consult patients, then 24/7 call
• Hospital census approx. 250
• Bread-and-butter GI (GI bleeds, occasional liver disease)
• No EUS or ERCP required
• APP support for rounding and notes daily
• Sound Physicians is the primary admitting service; GI consult-only
• ICU/CCU covered by intensivists
• Surgical & IR backup available
• Anesthesia handles sedation for all scopes
• Easy transfer process through enterprise system
• Equipment: Olympus scopes (approx. 3 years old); Provation for endoscopy documentation; hospital EMR: Epic

Requirements:
• Gastroenterology BC/BE
• Ohio license or IMLC (willing to license)
• Inpatient consult experience
• Comfortable with 24-hour call coverage
