Gastroenterology Opportunity – OH
Start: February 16

Coverage Dates:
• Feb 16 (7:00a) – Feb 23 (7:00a)
• Mar 2 (7:00a) – Mar 9 (7:00a)
• Apr 13 (7:00a) – Apr 20 (7:00a)

Schedule:
• Monday 7:00a – Monday 7:00a
• Day coverage: 7:00a–3:00p
• Night beeper call Monday–Friday
• 24-hour beeper call on weekends
• Full-time coverage needed; will consider providers able to work a minimum of 7 consecutive days per month

Work Details:
• Adult patient population
• GI coverage for a Level I hospital
• EMR: Epic
• Hospital size: 434 beds
• Patients per day: TBD

Special Procedures (Required):
• ERCP (minimum 150 performed in the past 2 years)
• EUS required
• Esophageal, duodenal, and luminal stent placement
• Diagnostic and therapeutic EGD
• Colonoscopy (documentation of 100 in past 2 years required; 150 at reappointment)
• Argon plasma coagulation
• Non-variceal hemostasis (upper & lower)
• PEG placement
• Esophageal dilation
• Flexible sigmoidoscopy
• GI motility studies and 24-hour pH monitoring

Requirements:
• Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Ohio license required (IMLC preferred; open to licensing)
• DEA required
• ACLS required
• Moderate sedation competency required (education + post-test ≥80%)
• Minimum 1 year of experience

Credentialing:
• Temporary privileges available
