Opportunity:
Physician - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology

Job Details:
• Provide holiday coverage for Thanksgiving and Christmas with weeknight and weekend call
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:15pm with orientation starting at 7am
• Weekday call coverage 7pm-7am with minimal weekend call responsibilities
• Handle 12-15 procedures per shift with possible add-ons
• Perform general GI cases including EGD and EGD with banding
• Conduct foreign body removal and dilations
• Execute colonoscopies with biopsy and polyp excision capabilities
• Perform upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, and fulguration of bleeders
• Handle injection of varices and small bowel biopsies
• Conduct flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy procedures
• Manage insertion and care of Sengstaken/Blakemore tubes
• Must be board certified with active Ohio license or IMLC eligibility
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
