Assignment Length: Current approval through April 1, 2027

Overview

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Gastroenterologist with ERCP expertise for an inpatient hospital assignment in Springfield, OR. This long-term opportunity offers a manageable patient volume, collaborative specialist support, and licensing assistance for qualified providers.

Schedule
10-hour shifts
7:00 AM–5:00 PM
Night call required
Schedule to be determined
Practice Details
Inpatient-only practice
Hospital privileges
Adult patient population
Approximately 10 patients per day
Epic EMR
Responsibilities
Inpatient rounding
New GI consults
ERCP procedures
Collaboration with specialty consultants
Coordination with outpatient GI physicians as needed
Support
Solo inpatient Gastroenterologist
Access to specialty consultants
Established outpatient GI physicians available for workflow support
Requirements
MD or DO
ERCP required
ACLS
Active Oregon license or willing to obtain
Documentation of gastroenterology case logs representative of the previous 24 months (or fellowship training logs if recently trained)
