Assignment Details
• Specialty: Gastroenterology
• Location: Springfield, OR
• Start Date: February 1, 2027 (first day reserved for orientation)
• Assignment Length: 6 months
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, typically 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• No call required
• Inpatient and outpatient setting
• Adult patient population
• Average of 15 patients per day
• Joining a team of 2 Gastroenterologists
Practice Highlights
• Mix of clinic, inpatient consults, procedures, admissions, and rounding
• 390-bed hospital
• EPIC EMR
• No solo coverage
Required Procedures
• EGD
• Colonoscopy
• Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
• Capsule Endoscopy (including interpretation)
• Esophageal Manometry (including interpretation)
• Polypectomy
• Biopsy
• Endoscopic Hemostasis
• Stricture Dilation
• Foreign Body Removal
• Argon Plasma Coagulation (APC)
• PEG Placement and Replacement
• ERCP including sampling, stent placement, stone extraction, and dilation
• Cholangioscopy
• EUS with interventions
• Bravo pH Testing
Requirements
• Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist
• Advanced GI training required
• Documentation of recent Gastroenterology case activity within the past 24 months
• Open to licensing/Oregon license

• February 2027 start date
• Scheduled + No Call
• OR license or willing to license!
