Work Details:
- Setting: Inpatient + Outpatient
- Number of beds: 390
- Patient demographics: Adults
- Average patients per day: 15
- Required Procedures: Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), Capsule Endoscopy - ordering and reading/interpreting results, Colonoscopy, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, Esophageal manometry - ordering and reading/interpreting results.
- Therapeutic procedures that are part of the above: Polypectomy, Biopsy, Endoscopic hemostasis, Stricture dilation, Foreign body removal, Argon Plasma Coagulation (APC)
- Hospital/Advanced Procedures: Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) - placement, replacement (outpatient), Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) - sampling, stent placement, stone extraction, dilation, Chol angioscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) - w/ interventions, Bravo pH
- Required certifications (Must be from AHA or American Red Cross as applicable): BLS and advanced GI training
- EMR: EPIC
