Position Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist for short-term locum tenens coverage at a well-supported, mid-size hospital. This role focuses on emergent GI procedures only, with comprehensive hospital support available around the clock.

Coverage Details
Shift Type: 24-hour call coverage (7a–7a)

Coverage Needs: 24/7 hospital coverage

Patient Volume: ~12 patients per day (inpatient)

Patient Population: Adults (18+)

Department: Gastroenterology

EMR: Cerner

Hospital Size: 219 beds

Procedures
Emergent GI procedures only

EUS and ERCP preferred but not required

Support & Resources
Full hospital support staff on site

RN and NP support

Specialty backup available

24-hour anesthesia coverage
