New Opportunity in Southeastern Pennsylvania with Aya Locums: Gastroenterology MD

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Gastroenterologist for ongoing inpatient GI coverage. This opportunity offers a collaborative environment with APP support and onsite anesthesiology coverage.

Schedule & Coverage
-Coverage needed:
1 week per month
Weekend coverage
-Practice Setting: Hospital-based practice
-EMR: Epic
-Adult patient population (18+)

Position Details
-Inpatient GI coverage only
-Emergency procedures only — no outpatient procedures
-No ERCP or EUS required
-Daily patient volume:
Total census: 30–50 patients
New consults: 9–16 per day
-APP support available for consults and follow-up care
-Physician will discuss and review patients on the list with APPs
-Anesthesiology onsite

Requirements
-Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
-Active Pennsylvania license required, willing to license
-DEA required
-Minimum 1 year of experience required

Credentialing
-Approximately 90 days
_Temporary privileges available for providers with a clean file
