Position Overview:
A facility in Ephrata, Pennsylvania is seeking a Gastroenterologist for an ongoing 1099 assignment with a mix of outpatient procedures and inpatient coverage. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling across multiple months and practice settings.

Assignment Highlights:
• Start Date: June 1, 2026
• Ongoing contract with flexible coverage blocks
• Mix of ASC procedures + inpatient rounding/call
• Weekday schedule + night beeper call + weekend 24-hour call
• Temps available with clean file

Schedule – ASC (Ephrata Endo Center | 7a–3:30p):
• June: 1, 2, 29, 30
• July: 1, 6, 10, 20, 21, 22, 23 or 24, 27, 28, 30 or 31
• August: 3, 4, 6 or 7, 28, 31
• September: 1, 2, 3 or 4, 22
• October: 2

Inpatient + Call Coverage Blocks:
• July 24 @ 5pm – Aug 7 @ 7am
• Aug 28 @ 5pm – Sep 4 @ 5pm
• Nov 20 @ 5pm – Nov 30 @ 7am
• Dec 21 @ 7am – Dec 24 @ 5am
• Dec 28 @ 7am – Dec 31 @ 5pm

Shift Structure:
• Monday–Friday: 7a–3p + night beeper call (3p–7a)
• Weekends: 24-hour call (7a–7a)

Work Details:
• Settings: Ambulatory Surgery Center + Hospital
• Patient population: Adults (18+)
• Volume:

10–12 inpatients/day
2–4 consults/day
~6 outpatient procedures/day (+0–1 add-on)
• Responsibilities: Outpatient procedures, inpatient rounding, consults, inpatient procedures
• Support: No APP support in hospital
• EMR: EPIC
• Hospital size: 130 beds
• Skills required: General GI

Requirements:
• Board Certification: BC or BE in Gastroenterology
• Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC LOQ required at submission
• DEA: Required
• Must be comfortable working independently in hospital setting

Additional Info:
• Credentialing: Temps available with clean file
• Gratis: 2 hours for 24-hour call
