New Gastroenterology Opportunity with Aya Locums in Tennessee

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for an exciting locums opportunity covering two Tennessee facilities with a supportive clinical team and flexible procedure scheduling!

🕒 Coverage & Schedule
• Monday 7:00am EST – Monday 7:00am EST
• Coverage at 2 locations weekly
• Monday–Friday onsite coverage + weekend call
• 24-hour call coverage required during assignment
• Typically onsite 8–10 hours/day
• After-hours call is mostly phone consults with rare callback onsite

👥 Team & Support
• Work 1:1 with an APP
• Dedicated OR and Endoscopy nursing support
• Blocked endoscopy suite time available

🏥 Practice Details
• Endoscopy Suite + Main OR coverage
• Average procedural volume: 7–8 procedures/day
• Average 24-hour call volume: 5–6 procedures/day
• Adult patient population with occasional patients under 18

🔬 Required Skills & Procedures
• ERCP REQUIRED
• Must be highly experienced in General GI and ERCP procedures
• Flexibility with EUS scheduling/procedures available
• May assist with inpatient rounding as needed
• Olympus equipment utilized

💻 Systems
• EMR: EPIC preferred

📋 Requirements
• Board Certified GI REQUIRED
• Tennessee license or IMLC REQUIRED before confirmation
• TN DEA required
• ACLS & BLS required
• CSR preferred

⏳ Credentialing Timeline
• Approximately 60–90 days for clean files with active licenses

💉 Vaccine Policy
• Certain exemptions accepted with appropriate medical documentation
