Locum Gastroenterologist Opportunity – Texas

Duration: 1 week (11/24, 7:00 a.m. – 12/1, 7:00 a.m.)
Schedule: 7a–7a, Beeper Call Only

We are seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist to provide short-term inpatient coverage in Texas. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a well-supported environment with full hospital resources and a skilled clinical team.

Position Details:

Specialty: Internal Medicine – Gastroenterology

Setting: Inpatient

Support Staff: Yes

EMR: Athena / Medhost

Procedures:

Upper & Lower GI Endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy

Esophageal Dilatation/Manometry & Interpretation

Small Bowel and Liver Biopsy

Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) – Preferred

Insertion/Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore Tube

Experience Required: ERCP proficiency

License: Active Texas license required

Certifications: Board Certified, ACLS, DEA, Fellowship-trained

Credentialing: ~10 days (Temp privileges available)
