Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for a short-term locum tenens opportunity in El Paso, Texas. This is a call-only inpatient assignment with temporary privileges available for qualified providers.

Assignment Details
Dates: June 1–5, 2026
Coverage Type: Call only
Shift Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Patient Volume: Approximately 4 patients per shift

Practice Setting:
Inpatient hospital setting
EMR: Cerner
Department size: 10 beds
Required Procedures & Skills: Upper GI Endoscopy, Biopsy, Foreign body removal, Bleeder fulguration, Variceal injections, ERCP, PEG placement, Esophageal dilation/manometry, Small bowel biopsy, Lower GI Endoscopy, Flexible & rigid sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy

Requirements:
Board Certified in Gastroenterology
Fellowship trained
Active Texas license required
ACLS certification required

Credentialing: ASAP with temporary privileges available.
