Gastroenterology Opportunity – El Paso, TX

Job description

We are working with a hospital in El Paso, TX seeking Gastroenterology coverage for a short-term inpatient need beginning June 2026.

Position Details:
• Inpatient setting
• Call-only coverage
• June 1–5, 2026 assignment
• Approximately 4 patients per shift
• EMR: Cerner
• 10-bed department
• Temporary privileges available for qualified providers

Schedule:
• 24-hour call coverage
• June 1, 2026 – June 5, 2026
• Schedule details TBD

Procedures & Skills Required:
• Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy
• Foreign body removal
• Fulguration of bleeders
• Variceal injections
• ERCP (diagnostic & therapeutic)
• PEG placement
• Esophageal dilation/manometry & interpretation
• Small bowel biopsy
• Flexible & rigid sigmoidoscopy
• Colonoscopy

Requirements:
• Board Certified required
• Gastroenterology fellowship required
• Active Texas license required
• ACLS certification required
