This facility is a modern healthcare campus that provides comprehensive medical services to the El Paso community. The gastroenterology department features 10 beds with a manageable patient load, offering excellent opportunities for focused procedural care and patient management.

Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology

Job Details:
• Handle 4 patient encounters per shift in a 10-bed department
• Perform upper GI endoscopy with biopsies, foreign body removal, and fulguration of bleeders
• Conduct ERCP procedures including both diagnostic and therapeutic interventions
• Perform PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy) procedures
• Execute esophageal dilatation and manometry with interpretation capabilities
• Conduct small bowel biopsies and lower GI endoscopy procedures
• Perform flexible and rigid sigmoidoscopy examinations
• Conduct colonoscopy with biopsy capabilities
• Perform endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) procedures
• Execute liver biopsy procedures
• Must be board certified in Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology
• Current Texas medical license required
• ACLS certification required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 14 days
