This mid-sized hospital seeks locum tenens gastroenterology coverage to support ongoing patient care needs across outpatient clinic and OR settings. The facility maintains the clinical infrastructure necessary to deliver gastroenterology services on-site. Coverage is provided during day shift hours with no call requirements.

About the clinician's workday

The gastroenterologist will provide outpatient gastroenterology and OR coverage Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM at this on-site facility in Virginia. Clinical responsibilities include a mix of outpatient clinic visits and OR cases, with the exact distribution of clinic versus OR days to be determined. Full-time coverage is preferred; however, the facility will consider clinicians available for a minimum of one week per month. No call responsibilities are required for this locum tenens assignment.
