Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Board Certified Gastroenterologist for a 6-month locum tenens assignment supporting a well-established GI practice in Washington.

Assignment Overview
-Expected Duration: 6 Months
-Practice Setting: Both Inpatient & Outpatient
-Privileges: Clinic and Hospital
-Patient Population: Adults (18+)
-Schedule & Call:
24-hour call coverage required
Weekday and weekend hospitalist/call shifts

-Responsibilities include: Rounding, Consults, Admissions, Inpatient GI procedures, Outpatient GI procedures

Patient Volume
-Clinic: Approximately 16 patients per day
-Outpatient Endoscopy Center: 14–16 patients per day
-Hospital Census: Varies

Required Procedures
-General Gastroenterology procedures
-ERCP required

ERCP Requirements
-Documentation of ERCP clinical services within the last 24 months required
-Maintenance requirement: Minimum of 50 successful ERCP procedures within the past 2 years

Requirements
-Board Certified in Gastroenterology
-ACLS certification required: Must be through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
-Washington license preferred
-IMLC candidates accepted

EMR & Software
-EPIC EMR experience preferred
-Provation GI software experience preferred
