Wisconsin GI Locums - No Call + Up to 3 Weeks/Month
Job description
Aya Locums is working with a Wisconsin client seeking Board Certified Gastroenterologists for an ongoing locum need with a strong daytime schedule and no call.
The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Coverage can be up to three weeks per month, giving physicians the opportunity to build a substantial recurring schedule without nights, weekends or call.
The practice is a mix of inpatient Gastroenterology and outpatient endoscopy, with approximately 75% of the coverage focused on endoscopy and 25% inpatient. Procedures include EGD and colonoscopy, with approximately 12-15 patients per day in the endoscopy clinic. Epic is the EMR.
Board Certification in Gastroenterology is required. An active Wisconsin license is not required to start the conversation - the client is open to licensing the right physician. New graduates are also welcome to be considered as long as they are Board Certified. ACLS and BLS are required.
The initial assignment is three months with an ongoing need beyond that. Credentialing is estimated at approximately 60 days, and the start date is as soon as credentialing can be completed.
This is the kind of General GI assignment that gives you meaningful volume without building your life around call. If Wisconsin, the schedule and the clinical mix make sense, tell me what compensation would make the opportunity worthwhile for you and I will work to make that happen.
If this one is not right, I would still welcome the conversation. Tell me what would be - location, schedule, clinical mix and compensation. I'd rather learn what you actually want and go to work for you than ask you to filter opportunities for me.
- Monday-Friday daytime schedule with no call
- General GI - approximately 75% endoscopy
- Open to Wisconsin licensing - ongoing need
