Locums NP Opportunity in the Heart of New York City

Job description

* 5 (8hr) shifts
* NY licensed
* Outpatient experience required
* Will float between 5 facilities
* 6 months with the option to extend

Responsibilites:
-Comprehensive health assessments for pediatric patients (newborn through adolescence)
-Diagnose and treat acute illnesses (URI, otitis media, minor injuries, etc.)
-Manage chronic conditions (asthma, ADHD, diabetes, etc.)
-Conduct well-child exams and sports physicals
-Administer immunizations and ensure vaccine compliance
-Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests
-Provide patient and family education
-Prescribe medications in accordance with state regulations
-Maintain accurate documentation in EMR
