Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Full-Time needed in Brattleboro, VT
Job description
Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
You will work in a collaborative outpatient environment focused on comprehensive health promotion, disease prevention, and long-term wellness.
CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Primary Care Delivery: Independently perform medical acts in accordance with APRN licensure standards for individuals, families, and groups.
- Collaborative Care: Work alongside a multidisciplinary team including physicians, specialists (Cardiology, Orthopedics, OB/GYN, etc.), and support staff to optimize patient outcomes.
- Patient Education: Identify specialized learning needs and provide clinical education to support informed healthcare decision-making for patients and families.
Clinical Leadership: Provide consultation within the care team and support daily practice operations in a cost-effective, safe, and efficient manner.
Professional Growth: Participate in ongoing professional development and establish personal goals for clinical excellence.
SCHEDULE & WORKFLOW
Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (40 hours per week).
Weekend Requirements: None.
On-Call: 1:11 rotation (Light community-based call).
Environment: Outpatient only; multidisciplinary medical group setting.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Annual Salary: $120,000 – $140,000 (Determined by experience, education, and market competitiveness).
Status: Exempt, Permanent Placement.

SUBMISSION & CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program [REQUIRED].
Licensure: Current Vermont APRN License (or eligible to obtain) [REQUIRED].
Certifications:
National Certification as Adult, Family, or Pediatric NP [HIGHLY PREFERRED].
Healthcare Provider CPR and active DEA License [REQUIRED].
Experience: Two years of nursing experience prior to obtaining an advanced degree [HIGHLY PREFERRED].

Clean Malpractice History.
