Family Medicine NP/PA Opportunity – Newcastle, WY:
Employment Type: Locum Tenens – 1099
Start Date: ASAP (target start 9/28/2026)
Contract Length: Ongoing
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Schedule Options: 5x8s or 4x10s
No Call
Practice Details
Outpatient Family Medicine clinic
Rural primary care practice
Coverage split between clinics based on patient demand
Approximately 17 patients per day
Primarily adult and geriatric patient population
EMR: Epic
Support staff includes a part-time Family Medicine physician, an Urgent Care NP, and clinic support staff
Clinical Responsibilities
Full-spectrum outpatient Family Medicine
Chronic disease management
Preventive care
Pain management
Routine office procedures
Fracture and cast follow-up care
Must be comfortable practicing independently in a rural setting
Requirements
Board Certified
Active Wyoming license or compact
Active DEA
Providers must be comfortable practicing independently
