Position Overview
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist for an immediate part-time opening with a community-based non-profit facility in Mountain View, CA. This role focuses on delivering person-centered care and enhancing participant independence in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.

Key Responsibilities
✔ Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations; formulate and execute person-centered care plans.
✔ Collaborate actively as a core member of the multidisciplinary care team.
✔ Deliver ADL therapy and training (grooming, dressing, hygiene, body mechanics).
✔ Conduct in-home safety evaluations and recommend environmental modifications.
✔ Educate and train center staff on safe transfer techniques, proper body mechanics, and universal precautions.
✔ Supervise participants throughout the facility to ensure optimal safety, comfort, and engagement.
✔ Attend multidisciplinary team meetings, in-services, and mandatory training sessions.

Qualifications
✔ Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
✔ Licensure & Driving:
✔ Active California state license as a Registered Occupational Therapist (OT).
✔ Valid California Driver’s License, clean driving record, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
✔ Experience: Open to new graduates; clinical rotation experience in adult/community care welcomed.
✔ Technical Skills: Competence in ADL training, in-home safety evaluations, transfer techniques, and universal precautions.
✔ Soft Skills & Physical Demands: Compassionate, strong communication skills, collaborative mindset; ability to safely lift/transfer/maneuver 35+ lbs.
