General Dentist needed in Fort Wayne, IN | Temp to Perm

Job description

We are seeking a General Dentist for a busy, well-established practice in Fort Wayne, IN. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, ideal for providers open to transitioning into a long-term role.

Position Highlights
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Ongoing until permanent provider is hired
Schedule: 3–4 days per week
Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Clinical Scope
Bread-and-butter general dentistry
High emphasis on cosmetic procedures, including:
Veneers, crowns, and bridges
Tooth-colored fillings and bonding
Teeth whitening and gingival sculpting
Tooth contouring and post/core work
Additional cosmetic enhancements (e.g., Oral ID, tooth jewelry)
Family dentistry across all ages (pediatric to geriatric)
Average patient volume: 10–12 patients per day

Practice Environment
4 operatories, 2-doctor practice
Strong hygiene and clinical support:
2 full-time RDHs, 3 part-time RDHs
1 Dental Assistant
1 Front Desk Coordinator
1 Office Manager
EMR: Denticon

Requirements
DDS or DMD
Open to temp-to-perm transition
Comfortable with general and cosmetic dentistry procedures
Ability to manage a steady patient flow
Additional Details
Busy, high-demand practice with consistent patient volume
