✅ Key Responsibilities
✔️ Conduct pre-operative assessments: vital signs, allergies, consent verification, and patient preparation
✔️ Monitor patients’ vital signs, airway, and consciousness as they recover from anesthesia
✔️ Manage pain, nausea, and other post-operative symptoms
✔️ Assist patients with mobility (sitting, standing, walking) to meet discharge criteria
✔️ Provide verbal and written post-operative instructions for wound care, medications, and warning signs
✔️ Administer IV fluids, antibiotics, analgesia, and other prescribed medications
✔️ Insert and remove IV cannulas as needed

✅ Qualifications
✔️ Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
✔️ Active, unencumbered RN license in Louisiana
✔️ Current BLS Certification
✔️ Minimum 1 year of RN experience
✔️ Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
✔️ Adaptable, culturally competent, and positive professional attitude
