Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (MED/SURG) to join a hospital in New Orleans, LA. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to adult and adolescent patients with medical conditions and post-surgical needs in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications
✔ Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program (ADN or BSN)
✔ Active Louisiana RN license
✔ Current BLS Certification
✔ At least 1 year of MED/SURG or acute care experience required
✔ Strong skills in IV therapy, wound care, and medication administration
✔ Proficiency with EMR systems and infusion pumps
✔ Strong critical thinking and time management skills
✔ Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced setting

Key Responsibilities
✔ Provide nursing care for medical and post-surgical patients
✔ Administer medications, fluids, and blood products safely
✔ Perform regular patient assessments and monitor vital signs
✔ Identify and respond to post-operative complications
✔ Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
✔ Provide patient and family education on diagnoses and recovery
✔ Assist with activities of daily living as needed
✔ Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
✔ Support discharge planning and continuity of care
✔ Ensure patient safety, infection control, and fall prevention
