🟩 Qualifications
✔️ Graduate of an accredited RN program (ADN or BSN)
✔️ Active Louisiana RN license required
✔️ Current BLS certification required
✔️ Minimum 1 year Med/Surg experience required
✔️ Strong skills in IV therapy, medication administration, and EMR documentation
✔️ Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced setting

🟩 Key Responsibilities
✔️ Provide comprehensive care for medical and post-surgical patients
✔️ Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products safely
✔️ Monitor vital signs, pain levels, and patient condition changes
✔️ Assist with ADLs including mobility, hygiene, feeding, and toileting
✔️ Identify and respond to post-op complications (DVT, infection, bleeding, PE)
✔️ Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team for discharge planning
✔️ Educate patients and families on recovery and disease management
✔️ Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
✔️ Ensure infection control and patient safety protocols are followed
