✅ Qualifications
✔️ Active Louisiana RN license required
✔️ Graduate of accredited RN program (ADN or BSN)
✔️ Minimum 1 year Operating Room (OR) experience required
✔️ Current BLS certification required
✔️ Strong sterile technique and circulating nurse experience preferred

✅ Key Responsibilities
✔️ Function as circulating nurse in the Operating Room
✔️ Maintain sterile field and enforce infection control protocols
✔️ Prepare surgical instruments, supplies, and implants
✔️ Assist surgical and anesthesia teams during procedures
✔️ Perform surgical counts (sponges, sharps, instruments)
✔️ Ensure proper patient positioning and safety during surgery
✔️ Support pre-op and post-op surgical workflow
✔️ Document intraoperative care accurately in EMR
