✅ Qualifications:
✔️ Active Louisiana RN license and current BLS certification
✔️ Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg or acute care experience
✔️ Completion of accredited RN program (ADN or BSN)
✔️ Strong IV therapy, medication administration, wound care, and EMR skills
✔️ Solid critical thinking and patient-centered care abilities

✅ Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Deliver direct care to medical and post-surgical patients (CHF, COPD, diabetes, orthopedic and abdominal cases)
✔️ Administer medications, IV fluids, and blood products safely
✔️ Perform ongoing assessments and document patient status in EMR
✔️ Monitor and respond to complications such as infection, DVT, PE, and post-op issues
✔️ Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
✔️ Assist with ADLs and patient mobility as needed
✔️ Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
✔️ Maintain infection control, safety, and clinical compliance standards
